NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

COUNTY OF BRAZOS §
The Commissioners Court of Brazos County, Texas will hold a
Public Hearing in accordance with Chapter 232.008 of the Local
Government Code to consider the abandonment of a 0.0624 acre portion of
County right-of-way at the southwest end of Drake Drive in the Duck
Haven Subdivision located in Precinct 1.
The place of the hearing will be at the Brazos County Courthouse,
300 East 26th Street, Suite 115, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas. The date
of the hearing will be Tuesday, December 5, 2006 and the time of the
hearing will be 10:00 a.m.
All interested persons are invited to attend said hearing and
present their cause, if any, for or against the abandonment of County
right-of-way in the Duck Haven Subdivision located in Precinct 1.
To be published three (3) times. The first on Wednesday, November 15,
2006, the second on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 and the third on
Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in the Legal Notices.
Please furnish tear sheets and Publishers Affidavit when published.

PUBLIC HEARING
DECEMBER 5, 2006
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a
Public Hearing in room 115 in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos
County, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5,
20065, with the following members of the Court present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Absent;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Presiding;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Absent;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Absent;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk, Absent.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The purpose of the hearing is to hear commentary for or
against the abandonment of a 0.0624 acre portion of county
right-of-way at the southwest end of Drake Drive in the Duck
Haven Subdivision in Precinct 1. Travis Martinek, representing
Developers Clark and Windham was present to answer questions.
There was no one present to speak for or against the proposed
abandonment.
There being no further comment, Commissioner Wassermann
declared the Public hearing closed.
