NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON MONDAY,
SEPTEMBER 12, 2005 AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF THE
BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26' STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN,
TEXAS.
THE COURT WILL HEAR COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED TAX INCREASE FOR 2005.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND SAID HEARING AND
PRESENT THEIR CAUSE, IF ANY, FOR OR AGAINST THE TAX INCREASE FOR 2005.
The Commissioners Courtroom is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign
interpretive services must be made two business days before the meeting. To make arrangements, call (979) 361-4102.

SEPTEMBER 12, 2005
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in a
Public Hearing in the Brazos County Commissioners Courtroom in
the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at
10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 12, 2005 with the following
members of the Court present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4,
Absent:
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
The attached sheet contains the names of the citizens and
officials that were in attendance.
The Court met to hear comments on the proposed tax
increase for 2005.
The County Judge announced the proposed tax rate is
$.4650 per $100 valuation.
There were no citizens present. The County Judge
waited to make sure no one appeared wishing to speak.
The County Judge announced the vote on the proposed tax
rate would be held on September 20, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. in the
Commissioners Courtroom.
At 10: 10 a.m. the County Judge closed the public hearing

because there were no citizens in attendance.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
