NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING ON TUESDAY,
AUGUST 30, 2005 AT 10:00 A.M. IN THE COMMISSIONERS COURTROOM OF THE
BRAZOS COUNTY COURTHOUSE, 300 EAST 26TH STREET, SUITE 115, BRYAN,
TEXAS.
THE COURT WILL HEAR COMMENTS ON THE PROPOSED BUDGET ENDING
SEPTEMBER 30, 2006.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND SAID HEARING AND
PRESENT THEIR CAUSE, IF ANY, FOR OR AGAINST THE PROPOSED BUDGET
The Brazos Center is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign interpretive services

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
PUBLIC HEARING
AUGUST 30, 2004
The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas held a
Public Hearing in room 210 of the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos
County, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 30,
2005, with the following members of the Court present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The purpose of the hearing is to hear commentary on the
proposed budget for fiscal year 2005 through 2006.
The following citizens spoke in favor of the requested
increases for the Sheriff's department personnel:

The County Judge thanked everyone for their comments and
said that they had been very enlightening. He then announced
that there would be another Public Hearing at 2:00 p.m. today
in the Commissioners Courtroom on the proposed tax increase.
There being no further comments, the County Judge
declared the Public hearing closed.
