WORKSHOP SESSION

The kshop will be held in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Brazos County
Courth se, 300 East 26th Street, Suite 115, Bryan, Texas for the purpose of hearing a
presen ion by Wiginton, Hooker, Jeffry Architects, Inc. regarding the Space Needs
Analys for Brazos County.
The Brazo ounty Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign

The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas met in a
W# kshop Session in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
C rthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
a on Tuesday, May 3, 2005, with the following members of
too Court present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct l;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
atltendance.
The Commissioner's Court met to hear a presentation by
W I inton, Hooker, Jeffry Architects, Inc. regarding the space
n ds analysis for Brazos County. Mr. Garner Grayson and Mr.
J Wiginton gave the presentation. They began by saying that
t'y had looked at 2,010 to 2,025 proposals or layouts. The
ter plan is for the addition of 52,000 square feet
tributed amongst 4 floors with 13,000 square feet per
f1bor. Level 1 would include the Commissioner's Courtroom,
ting rooms and miscellaneous offices; Level 2 would have 2
c rtrooms and support space; Level three would also have 2

c rtrooms and support space; and Level 4 would house the
C my Judge's office, Commissioners' offices and
m cellaneous offices.
They also discussed the following matters:
1 The City of Bryan's proposed 600 car parking garage, saying
t t it might interfere with the current diagram.
2 Talked about demolishing the county clerk's building to add
e floors.
