WO HOP ON THURSDAY 3 FEBRUARY 2005 AT 9:30 A.M.
The orkshop will be held in room 108 of the Brazos County Courthouse, 300 East 26`h
Stre Bryan, Texas for the purpose of hearing a presentation on the status of the security
audit or the Information Technology Department.
The B os County Courthouse is wheelchair accessible. Handicap parking spaces are available. Any request for sign

I rthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:30
. on Thursday, February 3, 2005, with the following members
the Court present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Lloyd Wassermann, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4 Absent;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk, Absent.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
attendance.
The Commissioner's Court met to hear a presentation on
tliE~ status of the security audit for the Information
T hnology Department. Mr. Richard Gasdia of Aporia Solutions
gave a preliminary report of the security audit of the
I ormation Technology Department. He began by stating the
oil. ective was to provide Brazos County Commissioners Court
w#h a compliance audit to International Standard ISO 17799
ftk Information Security and Industry best practices. He said
t~ y found that Brazos County information systems are sound
b their operations are not sound in almost every respect.
