MARCH 23, 2004
The Commissioners' Court of Brazes County, Texas held a
blic Hearing at the Brazes Center in the Courthouse in
yan, Brazes County, Texas, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on
.esday, March 23, 2004, with the following members of the
,urt present:
Randy Sims, County Judge, Presiding;
Eric Caldwell, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Duane Peters, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Absent;
Kenny Mallard, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Absent;
Carey Cauley, Jr., Commissioner of Precinct 4,Absent;
Karen McQueen, County Clerk.
Attached is a list of the citizens and officials in
tendance.
The purpose of the hearing is to hear commentary for or
'ainst the posting of speed limits in the Estates of River
~n Subdivision in Precinct 1. Ray Crow, representative of
.e Road and Bridge Department addressed a speed study that
.$ done on the road. He recommended setting the limit at 30
.les per hour throughout the entire subdivision.
There were no citizens in attendance wishing to speak on
~e setting of speed limits.
There being no further comment, the County Judge declared

~'¢ount was conducted on Wild Horse Run/from Paint to Shellbourne's Hill. The daily
dmber of vehicles at that location was 352 and the 85th percentile speed equaled 31.14 mph.
