Consider and take action on request from Ferguson Burleson County Gas Gathering System to install pipelines in the fol- lowing county rights-of-ways: a. Weedon Loop Road - Precinct 3 b. Linda Lane - Precinct 3 c. Fazzino Lane - Precinct 4 8. Consider and take action on request from Clayjon Gas Company, L.P. to install pipeline in county right-of-way of Lacey Well Road in Precinct 4. 9. Acknowledge receipt of Treasurers report. 10. Adjourn. r ` V® ■ AGE__~LZZ - I e7 COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 22, 1992 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 1992, with the following members of the Court present: R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Absent; Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4; Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: Ruth McLeod Carol Palmer Bea Green Rosalie Todaro Cheryl Turney Travis Nelson Sandie Walker Jim Mazurkiewicz Jim Hiney Larry Smith Executive Assistant Admin. Asst. to County Judge Secretary to Commissioners Auditor's Office Auditor's Office District Clerk Treasurer Co. Extension Agent Bryan/College Station Eagle UPRC The County Judge led the pledge of allegiance. The Court first considered Budget Amendment #91/92-19, which would transfer funds budgeted from the Non Departmental Department to the office of Justice of the Peace Precinct 5. On motion by Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court voted unanimously to approve the budget amendment as submitted, a copy of which is attached hereto. The next matter before the Court was a request from the District Clerk asking permission to hire a part time employee to do data entry to help complete the indexing of the microfilmed files. Commissioner Wilcox questioned the hourly wage and if it was a temporary position. On motion by the County Judge, seconded by Commissioner Turner, the Court voted unanimously to approve the request of the District Clerk to hire a temporary part time employee at a salary of $8.00 per hour. VOL 7i 1 Ark.: X18 Commissioners' Court meeting June 22, 1992 • On motion by the County Judge, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court voted unanimously to acknowledge and approve the assessment of fees by the 1st and 14th Supreme Judicial Districts of Texas for the Courts of Appeals in the amount of $10,757.00 and authorized the payment thereof. The Court next considered the purchase of a Laser Jet Printer for the Extension Office and a Fax Machine for the Road and Bridge Department. On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Turner, the Court voted unanimously to authorize the purchase of the Laser Printer and the Fax Machine from state contract. The Court next considered three requests by Ferguson Burleson County Gas Gathering System. The first to,place a road bore across the right-of-way of Weedon Loop for the • purpose of installing a welded steel gas line approximately 4,900 feet southeast of its intersection with Dyess Road in Precinct 3. This request is accompanied by draft no. 3971 in the amount of $500.00 representing payment for road crossing only. The second to install an 811, steel pipeline within the right-of-way of Linda Lane approximately 1,280 feet in length in Precinct 3. This request is accompanied by draft no. 3884 in the amount of $3,103.20 representing payment $40.00 per rod for 1,280 feet. The third to place a road bore across the right-of-way of Fazzino Lane to install a 6" natural gas line approximately 600 feet southeast of its intersection of O.S.R. in Precinct 4. This request is accompanied by draft no. 3783 in the amount of $500.00 representing payment for road crossing only. The County Judge said that the Engineer had recommended approval. On motion by Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court voted unanimously • to approve the request of Ferguson Burleson County Gas Gathering System and authorized the installations. rA copy of each request is attached hereto. The Court next considered the request by Clajon Gas Company to place a road bore across the right-of-way of Lacy Commissioners' Court meeting June 22, 1992 Well Road in order to install a 2" steel and a 4" steel natural gas line approximately'0.4299 miles from its inter- section with FM 60 in Precinct 4. This request is accompanied by draft no. 01441 in the amount of $1,000.00 representing payment for two road crossings. On motion by Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court voted un- animously to approve the request of Clajon Gas Company and authorized the installation. A copy of the request is r l i attached. The Court received, approved and ordered filed as sub- mitted the Treasurer's report for May 1992. A copy of which is attached to and made a part of these minutes. The Court proceeded to consider the change of status of the following employees.
