NOTICE OF MEETING OF THE BRAZOS COUNTY COMMISSIONER COURT
COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING
The Brazos County Commissioners Court will meet is Special Session
on Wednesday, October 2, 1991 at 10:00 A.M. in the Commissioners
Courtroom of the Brazos County Courthouse, 300 East 26th Street,
Room 115, Bryan, Texas.
AGENDA
1. Vote on the 1991 tax rate to be assessed against all
property in Brazos County.
2. Adjourn.

COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
OCTOBER 2, 1991
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
a.m. on Wednesday, October 2, 1991, with the following members
of the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Mary Ann Ward, County Clerk.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:
Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant
Bea Green Sec. to County Commissioners
Carol Palmer Admin. Assist. to County Judge
Tom Lyons Justice of the Peace Pct. 1
Anne Friedenberg KBTX-TV
Mike Humphries KBTX-TV ,
All members being present, the Court proceeded to set the
tax rate for the year 1991. On motion by the County Judge,
seconded by Commissioner Sims, the Court voted unanimously to
set the ad valorem taxes against all property in Brazos
County, Texas according to the following schedule:
Maintenance & Operations rate $.3821 per $100 valuation
Interest & Sinking rate $.0579 per $100 valuation
TOTAL TAX RATE $744 per $100 valuation
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
