COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
DECEMBER 17, 1990
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
a.m. on Monday, December 17, 1990, with the following members
of the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.

The County Judge stated that the purpose of the meeting
was to hear proposals for delinquent ad valorem tax collection
by all of the successful bidders. He then proceeded to lay
the ground rules for the presentation of the proposals. The

courtroom was cleared and the speakers came in individually to
give a twenty (20) minute presentation on their proposal.
The key speakers from each of the firms were as follows:
Jeffery K. Brown - Calame, Linebarger & Graham
Travis Bryan - Heard, Goggan, Blair & Williams
Shelly Veselka - McCreary, Veselka, Bragg & Allen
Robert Mott - Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott
Henry Steen and Bob Dabbs - Steen & Steen
Albert Walker - Young & Walker
After the presentations were completed the County Judge
invited the representatives of the other taxing entities to
meet with Commissioners Norton and Sims to arrive at a
recommendation.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
