A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the

Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
t
a.m.,on Thursday, October 18, 1990, with the following members
of the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:
Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant
Carol Palmer Admin. Asst. to County Judge
Rosalie Todaro Auditor's Office
Jim Hiney Bryan/College Station Eagle
The County Judge opened the meeting stating the purpose
of the meeting was to vote on the tax rate for 1990. On
motion by Commissioner Sims, seconded by commissioner Norton,
the Court voted unanimously to set the ad valorem taxes
against all property in Brazos County , Texas according to the
following schedule:
General Fund $.2826
Road & Bridge $.0648
TOTAL MAINTENANCE & OPERATING FUNDS $.3474
Permanent Improvement Debt Service $.0461
C. O. Debt Service $.0170
TOTAL INTEREST & SINKING FUNDS $.0631
TOTAL TAX RATE FOR 1990 $.4105 per $100
valuation
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
