The Commissioners' Court of Brazos County,-Texas reconvened
the meeting in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in
Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Monday,
May 7, 1990, with the following members of the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Absent;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Absent;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:

Karen McQueen County Clerk's Office
The first item on the agenda was to canvass the results of
the Special Election held May 5, 1990 to vote on the creation of
Rural Fire Prevention District No. 1 and Rural Fire Prevention
District No. 4.

The County Judge announced that the total number of votes cast
for the creation of Rural Fire Prevention District #1 was 214.
The total number of votes cast against the creation of Rural Fire
Prevention District #1 was 150. The total number of votes cast
for the creation of Rural Fire Prevention District #4 was 112.
The total number of votes cast against was 83.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
