Adjourn. 01 VOI.__ V/PAGE / 7 a~ I~ ll u • ~J J I n i cf COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING FEBRUARY 12, 1990 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 12, 1990, with the following members of the Court present: R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding; Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3; Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4; Frank Boriskie, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: Ruth McLeod Executive Assistant Carol Palmer Admin. Asst. to County Judge Bea Green Secretary to Commissioners Rosalie Todaro Auditor's Office Elizabeth Sharp Bryan/College Station Eagle The Court met to award the contract for the Asbestos Abatement on the old Safeway building on the corner of Texas Avenue and William Joel Bryan Parkway. There were fourteen (14) bidders. NO BID NO BID Harrison $ 51,375 NO BID Commissioner Sims read from a letter from McClelland Management Service, the County's consultant on the project, who supervised the public bid opening on Friday, February 9, 1990. They recommended awarding the contract to the apparent low bidder WRW Contractors, Inc.. Their bid was $24,803.00. On motion by VOL PAG 3 ~a Commissioner Sims, seconded by Commissioner Norton, the Court voted unanimously to award the contract the low bidder WRW Contractors, Inc.. Work will begin on February 210 1990. There being no further business to come before the Court, the meeting was adjourned. VO~_pAGELL74.
