COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
MAY 30, 1989
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas was held in the commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 1989, with the following members of the
Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding;
Gary Norton, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Randy Sims, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:\

A. H. Winder County Engineer
Travis Nelson District Clerk
Terri White Deputy Treasurer

Commissioner Sims gave the invocation and led the pledge of
allegiance.
The Court next considered approval of the minutes of the
Commissioners' Court meetings held May 8, 1989 and May 15, 1989.
It was the consensus of the Court to table consideration of the
minutes of the meeting held may 8, 1989 in order to clarify a
comment made by the County Engineer in response to a series of
uestions posed by Commissioner Wilcox. On motion by
Commissioner Norton, seconded by Commissioner Sims, the Court
voted unanimously to approve the minutes of May 15, 1989 as
submitted.
The Court received, approved and ordered filed as submitted
he Treasurer's report for April 1989. A copy of which is
attached to and made a part of these minutes.

Sims, the Court voted unanimously to approve the Claims as
ubmitted.

At 10:11 a.m. the County Judge announced the meeting closed
o the public so that the Court could meet in closed executive
`session to discuss personnel.
At 11:01 a.m. the County Judge announced the meeting open to
f he public and announced the personnel requests will be addressed
t budget time with no action to be taken at this time.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
he meeting was adjourned. '
