The County Judge stated fall bonds were in order and payable to the proper authority. On motion by Commissioner Sims, seconded by Commissioner joint agreement 60, with Brazos the cost and GTE by Commissioner ijTurner, the Court voted unanimously to communicate support for a ,!request for grant assistance for a regional water supply planning I 1istudy to be conducted by the cities of Bryan and College Station. The Court next considered an Exemption of Competitive 'Bidding Requirements as provided in Section 262.024(a)(1) of the If Local Government Code for the purchase of services from Bryan ij IiWoodbine Gathering, Inc. for the lowering of two oil lines at ;each of two existing creek crossings on old Reliance Road to !accommodate proposed drainage channel deepening and consideration of Exemption of Competitive Bidding requirements as provided in !Section 262.024(a)(6) of the Local Government Code for the 1purchase of Right-of-Way for the reconstruction of Mumford Road. I ;On motion by Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner !Norton, the Court voted unanimously to approve the Waiver of I Competitive Bidding Requirements and authorized the payment of 1$8,515.00 to Bryan Woodbine Gathering, Inc. for construction costs and the payment of $12,000 to Richard Smith for said right- of-way on Mumford Road. On motion by Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner Sims, the Court received, approved and ordered filed as submitted the Treasurer's report for December 1988 and the fourth quarter of 1988.
