Holland Winder, County Engineer, recommended j acceptance of the low bid submitted by Young Brothers, Inc. of Bryan with a base bid of $444,811.10 and Alternate "A" for $63,720.00 for a total contract amount of $508,531.10. On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner Cooley, the Court voted unani- mously to accept the recommendation of the i County Engineer and award the contract to i Young Brothers, Inc. of Bryan and to fi authorize payment thereof. A copy of the bid tabulation is attached hereto and made a I part of these minutes. ; The Court next considered Budget Amendment #23, which would is .ncrease the budget for the Environmental Protectionl Department ind the General Fund Budget by $18,650.00. On motion by ;ommissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court voted unanimously to approve the budget amendment as submitted, a copy of which is attached hereto.
