AGENDA FOR COMMISSIONERS' COURT MEETING - MONDAY, OCTOBER 10. 1988, 10:00 A.M.
1. Approval of the minutes of the meetings held on August 8,
1988, August 11, 1988 and August 15, 1988.
2. Consider and take action on refusal of all generator bids.
3. Consider and take action on the awarding of the contract
for the construction of the Brazos County/First Baptist
Church joint parking lot and authorize the payment thereof.
4. Consider and take action on payment of legal fees in regard
to the purchase of right-of-way on Elmo Weedon Road in
Precinct 3.
5. Consider and take action on penalties, interest and attor-
ney's fees for advalorem tax refunds.
6. Consider and take action on personnel change of status.
7. Payment of claims.
8. Executive Session to discuss Personnel 6252-17, Section 2(g).
9. Consider and take action on Executive Session.
10. Adjourn

County and Precinct Officers showing revenues collected and
,,remitted to the County Treasurer. An excerpt from those reports

The Court next considered approval of the minutes of the

Commissioners' Court meetings held August 8, 1988, August 11,
1988 and August 15, 1988. On motion by Commissioner Turner,
;seconded by Commissioner Beard, the Court voted unanimously to
Iapprove the minutes as submitted.
The Court next considered the refusal of all bids submitted
for the purchase of a backup generator for the Data Processing

On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner i

Beard, the Court voted unanimously to table consideration of the

,bids for the construction of a parking lot in conjunction with

epgrtment and to table consideration until a future date. The
motion was made by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner

On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner
,(Turner, the Court voted unanimously to pay all legal fees
incurred and authorized the purchase of 0.37 acres from Susan B.

(Smith for right-of-way along Elmo Weedon Road.

On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner
Cooley, the Court voted unanimously to table a request for
,!reimbursement of penalty fees, interest fees and attorney fees
for advalorem taxes.

of the Data Processing Department for salary increases.
