EMERGENCY MEETING

it An emergency meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, *Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the

~ICourthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
I
,a.m. on Thurdsay, August 11, 1988, with the following members of
the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding;
• Rill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Absent;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:

The Court next considered an order appointing James A. Amis,
i
,Jr. to sit as Special Judge in County Court at Law I from August
I
11, 1988 through August 12, 1988 to allow Judge Davis to be absent
from the bench due to a family emergency. On motion by
(Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner Cooley, the Court
I
voted unanimously to approve the Order naming James A. Amis, Jr. as
i
1!Special Judge for County Court at Law I for the dates of August
111, 1987 through August 12, 1988. A full copy of the Order is
;attached to and made a part of these minutes.
There being no further business to come before the Court, the
i
meeting was adjourned.
