A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos

IlCounty, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
lia.m. on Monday, June 6, 1988, with the following members of the
I~Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding;
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;

The Court first considered awarding the following bids:
Bid No. 88-438 - Groceries and Staples for June 5 July 1988
it for the jail
Rebecca Shults, Purchasing Agent, recommended ;
acceptance of the bid submitted by Sysco
Foods. On motion by Commissioner Cooley, !
seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court
voted unanimously to accept the recommen- ;
dation of the Purchasing Agent and award the
contract to Sysco Foods. A copy of the bid
tabulation is attached for reference.

acceptance of the bid submitted by
Read field. On motion by Commissioner
Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Beard, the
Court voted unanimously to accept the
recommendation of the Purchasing Agent and
award the contract to Readfield.

The Court next considered Budget Amendment #11, which would
transfer funds from the oil 6 Gas fund to the Boonville Cemetery
Fund for operating expenses for the Boonville Cemetery. Budget
Amendment #12, which would transfer funds from the Oil 6 Gas fund
to the Boonville Cemetery Fund to complete construction of the
figate and to transfer funds into a new account called Boonville
;;Cemetery Gate. On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by
Commissioner Turner, the Court voted unanimously to approve
budget amendments 11 and 12 as submitted, a copy of which is
attached hereto.
j The Court next considered Budget Amendment #13, which would
increase the budget of the Non-Departmental Department by $40,425
to be used for the purchase of four vehicles for the Narcotics
Task Force. On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by
!Commissioner Turner, the Court voted unanimously to approve the
!budget amendment as submitted, a copy of which is attached
hereto.
The Court next considered approval of the road dedication
1iplats for the widening of Hopes Creek Road and North Graham Road
,iin Precinct 1. Commissioner Wilcox asked that the plat of North
Graham Road show the entire road. On motion by Commissioner
llCooley, seconded by Commissioner Beard, the Court voted
unanimously to approve the plats for.Hopes Creek Road and North
Graham Road subject to the addition of North Graham Road in its
entirety.

On this the 6th day of June 1988 at a special meeting of the '
Commissioners' Court, the following members were present:

Billy E. Beard, Commissioner, Precinct 3;

The following proceedings were held:
THAT WHEREAS, on June 6, 1988, the Court heard and approved
