MAY 6, 1988
I, A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
kCounty, Texas was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
II Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10:00
!Ia.m. on Friday, May 6, 1988, with the following members of the
I
,Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, Presiding;
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
~i Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4; !
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk, Absent.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:
Ruth McLeod Administrative Assistant
I~ Bea Green Secretary to Commissioners
A. H. Winder County Engineer
The County Judge convened the Commissioners' Court meeting
at 10:03 a.m. and then announced the meeting closed to the public
,so that the Court could meet in closed executive session to
(discuss the puchase of right-of-way for county roads.
f The County Judge opened the meeting to the public at 11:05

;a.m..
On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner

;Beard, the Court authorized Commissioner Cooley to negotiate for I
purchase right-of-way along Dowling Road, Hopes Creek Road, Blue (III
!Fidgf? Drive, North Graham Road and White Switch Road. Purchase
;I
'of the rights-of-way to be paid with Road & Bridge Certificates
of Obligation funds.
1 On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner

Beard, the Court voted unanimously to authorize Commissioner
I~
Beard to negotiate for the purchase of right-of-way along Elmo
Weedon Road.
Ii There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
