An excerpt from those reports IIis attached hereto. t II The first matter to come before the Court was approval of the Grant Application for the Rape Crisis Center. On motion by IlCommissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox the Court VO L PAGE a u. I Commissioners' Court meeting March 9, 1987 voted unanimously to authorize the submission of the application for the grant and authorized the County Judge to sign the • necessary documents. The Court next considered the following bid and authorized payment thereof: Bid No. 87-337 - Oversized Limestone Rock for Road & Bridge Department Rebecca Shults, Purchasing Agent, advised the Court that Texas Crushed Stone, the low bidder, had been notified of the Court's intention to award the bid to Young Brothers and Glen Fuqua, Inc. and that they had declined to appear before the Court. On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Beard, the Court voted unanimously to award the the contract jointly to Young Brothers and Glen Fuqua, Inc. The County Judge is authorized to make application on behalf of Brazos County to the Criminal Justice Division for grant funds for the continuation of the Brazos County Rape Crisis Center, Inc.; 2. That the County Judge is authorized to accept on behalf of Brazos County such grant funds as may be tendered by the Criminal Justice Division; 3. This Resolution becomes effective upon adoption and its recording in the Minutes of the Commissioners' Court is ordered. R.
