The Commissioner's Court met in workshop session beginning at i
r
1:00 p.m. and continued through 3:00 p.m. on Friday September 12,
1986. The workshop was open to the public and each Department Head +
was given the opportunity to discuss his 1987 budget requests with
the Court. No action was taken on the requests during the workshop
sessions.
The one matter to be considered by the Court was a request for
payment from Jim Wade Contractor for work completed on the Brazos
Center Landscaping Project. The invoice was in the amount of
$39,965.00. On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by
Commissioner Cooley, the Court voted unanimously to pay the invoice
of Jim Wade in the amount of $39,965.00.
The workshop sessions were closed and the County Judge

proceeded with the preparation of the proposed budget for 1987. The
budget and requests will be acted on at the
public hearing on the f
budget.
