J. Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding: Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2 - Absent Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3; + Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4; Frank Boriskie, County Clerk. The following citizens and officials were in attendance: Stub Davis Treasurer I~ Rebecca Shults Auditor's Office I Sharon Fairchild Auditor Bea Green Secretary to Commissioners Chuck Clements WTAW/KTAW Carol Snedeker County Judge's Secretary ij The Court first considered the following Claims as submitted it by the County Treasurer for payment: 10 - General Fund Claims 53989 thru 54296 30 - Capital Projects & Improv. Proposition I Claims 54297 thru 54300 42 - Revenue Sharing Claims 54301 thru 54305 93 - Sesquicentiennial Claims 54313 thru 54326 94 - Victim Assistance (D.A.'s) Claims 54327 ` ON LINE CHECKS-21067-21270-21274 On motion by Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner Beard, I f the Court voted unanimously to approve the Claims as submitted. The Court proceeded to consider bids for additional furniture for the Courthouse: 1. McCoy, Inc. - Base Bid $120,536.00 - Alternate - $116,956.00 2. Hodges Business Interiors - No Bid 3. News Office Supply Base Bid $117,878.16 - Alternate - $114,308.16 4. Rockford Business Interiors Base Bid $115,492.00 - Alternate - $113,878.87 5. L.O.P.C. Base Bid $121,770.20 - Alternate - $117,728.92 6. Wilson Business Products Base Bid $126,640.95 - Alternate - No Alt. The County Judge stated that the Court desired to purchase additional furniture in the amount of $55,158.52. Commissioner Cooley stated that he had receiv- ed requests for the following furniture: 3 Executive Desks 2 Executive Chairs 3 Visitors Chairs 2 Secretarial Chairs 1 Work Table 2 File Cabinets - 1 legal, 1 letter On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Beard, the Court voted unanimously to award the contract for fur- niture to Rockford Business Interiors and that the purchase would include the additional requested furniture.
