COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 14, 1985
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding:
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the
Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 1:00
P.M. on Thursday, November 14, 1985, with the following members
of the Court present:
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:
Sharon Fairchild
Davis McGill
M. Paul Martin
Sue Smith
David Nunnelee
W. S. Thornton
Mike George
Carol Snedeker
The first matter to come before the Court was to consider a
proposal for refunding of the Series 1980 and Series 1981 Court-
house Bonds.
The Court recognized Davis McGill of A.G. Edwards who review

ed his presentation to the Commissioners Court on November 11, 1985.
He further stated that current figures indicated a savings of ap-
proximately $2,000,000 if the bonds were refunded at this time.
Mr. McGill introduced Paul Martin, Bond Attorney with Reynolds,
Allen and Cook who outlined the procedure for refunding the bonds
and that the process could be completed by the end of the year.
After discussion and having the procedure explained fully, Com-
missioner Cooley moved that A. G. Edwards and Sons, as Underwriter,
and Reynolds, Allen and Cook, as Bond Counsel for the County, be
authorized to prepare legal documents and distribute sale documents

approximate amount of $8,500,000 and to proceed with the sale of
such bonds as soon as practical. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Beard and carried unanimously.
There being no further business to come before the Court, the
meeting was adjourned.
