J. Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding: l 4 Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1; Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2; Billy E. Berka Aggie Wing/Conf.Air Force p The Court first considered setting the date and time for 1 ' ' the public hearing of the County Budget for 1985 and the Revenue Sharing Budget. On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by j Commissioner Beard, the Court voted unanimously to set the date 1 and time for the public hearing of the County Budget and Revenue 1 Sharing Budget at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 19, 1985 in 3 b the Commissioners Courtroom of the Courthouse. The Court further h ' ordered the following notices be published in the local newspaper } .c as a "Public Notice." ,r On motion by Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner t Cooley, the Court voted unanimously to appoint Kristina 2inke as Election Judge for voting precinct 20 and Gail Tucker as Election l 1 t VOL PAGE 5 9 1 t7 1F i r , l Y 4 rI Judge for voting precinct 21 for the Constitutional Amendment Election to be held November 5, 1985. The Court next recognized members of the Aggie Wing of the Confederate Air Force who requested permission to address the Court. Colonel Dan Griffin, Public Information officer who serv- ed as spokesman for the group, expressed the gratitude of the Wing for the donation of the surplus military vehicles. Mr. Griffin invited the Court to view the 1953 ambulance that has been repaired, painted and put back in service as a PX vehicle. There being no further business to come before the Court, the meeting was adjourned so that all interested persons could see the vehicle. The proposed budget may be examined on weekdays at the office of the County Clerk, Brazos County Courthouse, between the hours of 8.00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comment. Senior citizens are encouraged to attend and comment.
