COMMISSIONERS' COURT
AUGUST 5, 1985
The Commissioners Court met on Monday, August 5, 1985, at
10:00 A.M. in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Brazos County
Courthouse with the following members of the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding:
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4.
The County Judge announced the meeting to be a closed ex-
ecutive session to discuss personnel and ask all unauthorized
persons to leave.
The meeting was opened again to the public at 10:45 A.M.
The County Judge announced that the Court would receive
applications and resumes from all qualified persons }nterested
in the appointment of Judge of the County Court At Law No.l.
Applications and resumes would be received until 5:00 P.M. on
Thursday, August 8th., to determine if interviews would be con-
ducted. Should the Court determine interviews would be necessary,
the Court would meet again on Friday at 2:00 P.M. to conduct the
interviews.

There being no further business the meeting was recessed
until Friday at 2:00 P.M.

The Commissioners Court reconvened at 2:00 P.M. on Friday,
August 9th., in the Commissioners Courtroom of the Courthouse.
The County Judge announced that there would be no interviews
for the office of Judge of the County Court At Law No. 1, and
the meeting was'adjourned.
