The Commissioner's' Court met in Special Session at 2:00 P.M.
on Monday, January 28, 1T385 in the Commissioners Courtroom of
the Courthouse to consider and take action on the report of the
County's sanitary landfill expansion.
Members of the Court present were:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding:
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.

The Court having held a public hearing on the expansion of
the landfill, and hearing comments from all interested persons
proceeded to consider the report presented by Dr. Christopher
Mathewson.
Commissioner Cooley moved to authorize Dr. Mathewson to
proceed with the application for a Type II landfill to be con-
structed on the 88 acre tract outlined in the presentation. The
motion was seconded by Commissioner Beard with Commissioners
Cooley, Beard, Turner and the County Judge voting "Aye". Com-
missioner Wilcox abstained whereupon the County Judge announced
the motion carried.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
