The County Judge opened the meeting and requested the $ews
Media to publicize that October 6th. was the last day that a
citizen could register to vote in the November 6th. General Elec-
tion.
The first matter to come before the Court was approval of
the Minutes of the Commissioners Court Meetings held May 14, 1984,
May 29, 1984, June 6, 1984, June 25, 1984 and July 9, 1984. On
motion by Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner Beard
the Court voted unanimously to approve the minutes as distributed
and without change.
Next to be considered was the appointment of Election Judges
and Election Judge Alternates for the 1984-85 voting year. On
motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner Turner, the
Court voted unanimously to appoint the Judges and Alternates accord-
ing to the list attached to and made a part of these minutes.
The Court proceeded to consider amendments to the 1984 budget
as follows:
1. District Attorney's Office - reallocation of funds
2. Non Departmental 0 Telephone for Ambulance
3. Juvenile Probation Department o reallocation of funds
4. Treasurer's Office o reallocation of funds

A copy of the amendments are attached.
The Court next considered the Final Plat of Nantucket, Phase as

in Precinct 1. After review of the plat, Commissioner Cooley moved

to approve the plat as submitted, subject to submission of the nor-
mal bond. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Beard and carried
unanimously.
