After con- ill r siderable discussion Commissioner Wilcox moved to take no action on the request at this time, but to consider the request for the 1985 budget. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Beard, with F II r Commissioners Cooley, Wilcox and Beard voting "Aye" The County II Judge voted "No". Producers Gas Company proposed to install a 4% inch gas line within the right-of-way of Dowling Road in Precinct 2. Ferguson Crossing Pipeline Company proposed to install ra natural gas line within the right-of-way of Varisco ( L Lane in Precinct 4, and Cash Road in Precinct 4 I I 3. The City of College Station proposed to install a 16 inch water line across North Graham Road at Wellborn Road in Precinct 1 I j I rl e II On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, i the Court voted unanimously to approve the three foregoing requests and authorized the installations. A copy of the requests are attach-, ed. I, The Court next considered the Preliminary Plat of Fawn Lake Estates in Precinct 2. After review of the plat, Commissioner Wilcox moved to approve the plat subject to the following condi- tions. 1/ 100 foot right-of-way on Fawn Lake Drive (subject to 16 foot utility easement in the 100 foot right-of-way if +F required by REA) 2. Drainage easement for cul-d-sac between lots 11 and 12. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Beard with Commissioners Wilcox, Beard and the County Judge voting "Aye". Commissioner 1 `r Cooley voted "No". Inc f ii 4 Blue Cross/Blue Shield f( ( t The Auditor recommended the Court select the low bid and place s the insurance with the local firm, Employee Benefits Management,Inc. It shall be a Public Health District as established under . Article N of the Act. It shall be named the Brazos County Public Health District. At such time 'as all factors and ° ° conditions have been investigated, including but not limited to all provisions of this Act, the matter will be referred to the public health 6 board for recommendation to the members for action. y i (4) Procedure for the dissolution of the organization shall be initiated and ° through the director at which time he shall consult with all members and the public health board. The director shall use every means to \ coordinate an orderly dissolution of the organization. V ! At such time as all details have been resolved, the director shall report to the public health board which shall make recommendation to the governing bodies of the members who shall take final action on the project. All actions shall be exercised in accord with existing local, state, and federal law, rules and regulations as they pertain to the termination o€' " personnel, property and the responsibility to provide for services. (S) Procedure for the selection and ranoval of the directors (A) The director of the existing Brazos County Health Unit shall be the director of the Brazos County Public Health District. The director may be removed from office by the member governing bodies for lack of satisfactory discharge of duties, alcoholism, i • drug, abuse, conviction of a felony, misappropriation of funds or property, embezzlement, physical or mental impairment (disability) 6 which permanently prevents satisfactory discharge of duties. • y ~II 'Phis cooperative agreement shall provide for the creation of an advisory public health board, in accord with Article N, Section 4.03(b) of this Act. (1) and a (2) Ther public health board shall consist of one representative from each of the three member entities. Each city council will select a member of . its respective council or the city manager as its representative. The county commissioners' court will select one of its commissioners or the ~t 1 r I r COUt1ty judge as its representative. (3) Public health board representatives will serve two years except that one of the representatives will be appointed for a one year term on initial I appointment to insure staggered terms.
