R J Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding Bill J Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2, Billy E Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3, Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Frank Boriskie, County Clerk + ! 3 r, I I i The following citizens and officials were in attendance Sandy Lange Treasurer's Office , Donah Kay Ingram WTAW News ! Maria Sandberg Auditor's Office Thomas V Kinard County Auditor i ` The first matter to come before the Court was consideration • l ! the following bids and authorize the payment thereof 1 46,000 GVWR truck tractor with dump gravel trailer for T f Precinct 4 2 Replacement of a timber bridge located on Burt Lane crossing Cottonwood Creek in Precinct 4 3 Replacement of a timber bridge located on Silver Hill , Road crossing Thompson Creels in Precinct 4 and of the above three bids was delayed pending additional in- t ,~rmat ion ! I ~ 4 Labor and material for re-roofing the Sheriff's Office - 1 , ' a Southern Bluebonnet, Inc - no bid b All American Enterprises, Inc - $13,713 00 - begin , within 21 days - complete within 30 days , r c Commercial Coating Company, Inc - $17,000 - begin within S days - complete within 10 days j I Y motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner Turner { Y , ie Court voted unanimously to accept the low bid of All`American iterprises, Inc and authorized the payment out of Capital Pro- I^ acts, Proposition II funds ' I ~ +r There being no further business the meeting was recessed' ntil 9 30 A.M on Thursday, August 2, 1984. i 11' t ' s ! International F-2575 J I , immediate delivery - $69,999 25 (b) Allen-Jensen, Inc - Mack truck, R686ST, delivery ' 30 to 45 dayp - $69,557 00 t Commissioner Turner moved to accept the bid of Twin City Inter- n national Inc., subject to the guarantee of all warrenties and to t , ' authorize the payment thereof. The motion was seconded by Com- missioner Beard and carried unanimously. 2, Replacement of a timber bridge on Burt Lane, crossing Cottonwood Creek in Precinct 4. t (a) R. H Owens Construction - $48,720.00 - begin with- : { in 30 days, complete within 90 days. (b) Alston Bridge and Bulkheading, Inc - $46,152.00 - begin within 30 days, complete within 21 days. (c) Southwest Bridge Construction Company - $49,768.00 - begin within 20 days, complete within 44 days ' l t On motion by Commissioner Turner, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, ',",,,,the Court voted unanimously to award the contract to the low bidder ,tl 1't and to authorize the payment account of the Road and Bridge, Pre- 4 cinct 4 funds.
