Commissioner Turner and carried unanimously

The Sheriff recommended the purchase of the low bid, subject to

I the quality of the meat being satisfactory to the Sheriff°s Depart-
ment On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner
Cooley, the Court voted to award the contract to B&M Meat Company,
subject to the quality of the product meeting the Sheriff°s re-
quirements The contract to be cancelled and meat to be purchasedi
from dikes Grocery, the second bidder
On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner
Wilcox, the Court unanimously approved the Official Bond of Louis
Garcia, Jr , Constable of Precinct 4, and ordered the bond filed
in the Official Records of the County Clerk

of-way as follows
1 Producer's Gas Company proposes to construct a 4 inch
steel, natural gas line across the right-of-way of
Hopes Creek Road in Precinct 1 On motion by Com-
missioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Beard, the
~r I Court voted unanimously to grant the request and au-

The Court proceeded to consider the following Plats
' 1 Final Plat of Vista Oaks, Phase II in Precinct 3 After
review of the plat, Commissioner Beard moved to approve
! the plat and to grant a variance to allow a 50 foot right-
of-way on both roads, at the entrance of the subdivision
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Cooley, with Com-
missioners Cooley, Beard and Turner voting "Aye" Com-
missioner Wilcox abstained
`ff 2. Preliminary Plat of Timberwilde Subdivision, Third in-
stallment in Precinct 3 On motion by Commissioner Beard,
1 s seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court voted unanimous-
ly to approve the plat as submitted

the acquisition of right-of-way to realign Barron Road in Precinct
f 1 On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner
Beard, the Court voted unanimously to adopt the resolution and

Don Garrett with Garrett Engineering presented a drawing for

discussion regarding the closing of a county road in the southern
portion of the county commonly known as Old US 90 It was the

consensus of the Court that there be a private easement 60 feet
wide shown on the plat closing the road
Commissioner Beard moved that $12,500 00 of the County Engi-
neer °s salary be deducted equally from the salaries of the four
t
Commissioners and the County Judge, and to amend the budget appropri-
ately The motion was seconded by Commissioner Cooley with Com-
missioners Cooley, Beard and Turner voting "Aye" The County Judge

Formal notice is hereby given that Producer's Gas Com an Applicant '
proposes to place a 4" Steel, Natural Gas Pipeline within the right-of-way
of Hopes Creek Road in Brazos County, Texas as follows: V'

The location or description of the proposed installation is more fully '
shown by five copies of the drawings attached to this notice
I understand and agree that:

to The Commissioner of the Precinct in which the right-of-way lies m>.
be notified prior to the beginning of construction in order that
the Commissioner might be on hand to designate the actual location '
of the installation
2 That all damage to the roadways and rights-of-way will be repairec
to their original condition to the satisfaction of the Commissions
in which the roadway or right-of-way lies
3. That BRAZOS COUNTY reserves the right to require Applicant to re- a
locate or lower any such line at no cost to BRAZOS COUNTY, should
same become necessary due to widening or lowering, or other alter
ation of the roadway or right-of-way i,

That BRAZOS COUNTY is in no way responsible for any damage that m.
occur to any existing utility lines in the right-of-way

That the line will be constructed and maintained on the county ri'
of-way in accordance with governing laws i

That the line or lines will be constructed no less than forty-eig'
inches (48") lower than the lowest part of the drainage or bar di

the center of the roadway

That all roads be bored to forty feet (401) on either side of the
centerline of the right-of-way or cased for such distance

That all sites will be barracaded during construction period
