A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas, was held in the Lecture Rehearsal Room of the
Brazos Center, 3232 Briarcrest Drive, Bryan, Brazos County,
Texas, beginning at 10 00 A M on Monday, July 25, 1983, with
the following members of the Court present
R J Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding
Bill J Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1,
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2,
Billy E Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3,
Milton Turner, Commissioner of Precinct 4
The first matter to come before the Court was the approval
of the Minutes of the Commissioners Court meetings held June 24,
1983 and July 11, 1983 On motion by Commissioner Cooley, second-
ed by Commissioner Beard the Court voted unanimously to approve
the Minutes as submitted
The next matter to come before the Court was the consideration
of the following bids

' On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Beard
the Court voted unanimously to accept the low bid of Corgey &
Sons in the amount of $641 25 for labor and $1,000 00 for materials

On motion by Commissioner Beard,-seconded by Commissioner Cooley,
the Court voted to accept the low bid of Dean and King Paving Co-
pany, Inc The materials to be used by any Precinct
Next to be discussed was the Master Plan, Preliminary and
Final Plat of the Bryan Industrial Park, Phase I and Water Line
Construction Plans After discussion regarding the shaded area,
Commissioner Beard moved to approve the plat subject to the desi-
gnation of the shaded area as a road dedication and that the County
would be out no expense for relocation of utilities in the future
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Turner and carried unani-
mously
The Court next considered plans for the replacement of the
bridge across Wickson Creek on Dilly Shaw Tap Road in Precinct 2
On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Cooley
the Court voted unanimously to authorize the payment of funds at
such time as needed
On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner
A
Beard, the Court voted unanimously to approve an amendment to the
I 1983 Budget for the Health Department for car allowances, such
amendment not to exceed $4,300 A copy of the amendment is attached

The Court next considered a request from Ferguson Crossing
Pipeline for authorization to install a gas pipeline within the
following rights-of-way.
1. Scott Lane in Precinct 4.
2. Harris Road in Precinct 2.
On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Beard,
the Court voted unanimously to approve the request and to authorize
'the installation, subject to ascertaining that the fee for cross-
ing Harris Lane had been received. -
The Court next considered Change of Status for the following
employees:

To the Commissioners' Court of BRAZOS County, Texas

Bryan, Texas 77801
Formal notice is hereby given that FERGUSON CROSSING PIPE LINE COMPANY ,
Applicant, proposes to place a 4" Gas Line within the right-
of-way of Scott Lane and Collette Road in Brazos County, Texas as follows
The location or description of the proposed installation is more fully shown
by three (3) copies of the drawings attached to this notice
I understand and agree that
1 The Commissioner of the Precinct in which the right-of-way lies
must be notified prior to the beginning of construction in order,
that the Commissioner might be on hand to designate the actual
location of the installation
2 That all damage to the roadways and rights-of-way will be repaired
to their original condition to the satisfaction of the Commissioner
in which the roadway or right-of-way lies
3 That BRAZOS COUNTY reserves the right to require Applicant to relo-
cate or lower any such line at no cost to BRAZOS COUNTY, should
same become necessary due to widening or lowering, or other alter-
ation of the roadway or right-of-way
4 That BRAZOS COU14TY is in no way responsible for any damage that
might occur to any existing utility lines in the right-of-way
5 That the line will be constructed and maintained on the county right-
of-way in accordance with governing laws
6 That the line or lines will be constructed no less that forty-eight
inches (4$") lower than the lowest part of the drainage or bar ditch
and the drainage is to be considered at least two feet (2') below
the center of the roadway
7. That all roads be bored to forty feet (401) on either side of the
right-of-way or cased for such distance
8. That all sites will be barracaded during the construction period.
Construction of this line will begin on or after the 21 day of July
1983

situated across a portion of the Scott Lane and Collette Road Right-of-
Way.
PIPELINE EASEMENT
The Pipeline Easement across the above described property having a
Centerline description as follows;
BEGINNING of reroute Survey Station 42 + 85.0 on a Ferguson Crossing
Pipeline going to the Bright Sky 11 Well 11311 in the Right-of-Way of Scott
Lane;
THENCE leaving said BEGINNING POINT N 14°55' W, 90.00 feet to Survey
Station 43 + 75.0 for an angle point;
THENCE N 23°10' W, 525.00 feet to Survey Station 49 + 00.0 for an angle
point;
THENCE N 46°15' E. 375.00 feet to Survey Station 52 + 75.0 for an angle
point;
THENCE N 07°26' E, 81.00 feet to Survey Station 53 + 56.0 being on the1
Northwest line of the said Collette Road Right-of-Way tract, for the
terminal point of this Easement, being 5.00 feet Northeast along said
Northwest Right-of-Way line of Collette Road from a 518" Iron Rod set
for a property corner at the intersection of F.M. 974 and the said
