COMMISSIONERS' COURT '
' 'PUBLIC HEARING
DECEMBER 1, 1982
The Commissioners Court held a Public Hearing for the pur-
pose of amending the Subdivision Regulations for Brazos County,
Texas, on Wednesday, December 1, 1982 at 10:00 A.M. in the Comm-
issioners Courtroom, Bryan, Texas, with the following members of
the Court present:
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2, presiding:
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3.
The following citizens and officials were in attendance:
Bob Reese Citizen
Mark Smith Channel 3 T.V.
Jann Snell The Eagle
The meeting was opened to discuss changes in the Subdivision
Regulations that were adopted in 1977 to bring them up to date
and discuss certain sections as follows:
1. Section IV - SUBDIVISION REQUIREMENTS
B-1 - increase lot size to 2 acres.
B-la - add the statement "Unless 100 foot right-
of-way provided."
B-1 - add subsection d - "all lots shall have 300
foot street frontage."
C - increase lot size to 2 acres.
C-23 - add subsection "b" - "No maintance respon-
sibility to right-of-way back of curb and
gutter section.
2. Section VI - BOND REQUIREMENTS FOR FILING OF PLAT
PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION
'A-la - For paved streets with curb - "35.00 per
linear foot."
A-lb - For paved streets - "12.00 per linear foot."
A-lc - For graveled streets - "7<00 per linear foot."
No action was taken at the public hearing, but it was the consensus
of the group that the recommended changes be considered at the next
Commissioners Court meeting.
