A regular meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in
the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at
10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 9, 1982 with the following members

The first matter to come before the Court was the considera-
tion of bids received for the sale of Bridge House on South College
Avenue as follows:
H. R. Lawyer & Associates $87,619.00
Graham & Associates $76,129.00
On motion by Commissioner Beard seconded by Commissioner Wilcox
the Court voted unanimously to reject the bids.
On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner
Wilcox the Court voted unanimously to approve the Change in Status
for the following employees:
Karen Mathews
Sandie Elaine Winstead
Peggy Clay
John Henry Becker
Richard Keng
Nancy Franks
Floyd D. Bostwick
Randy Gray
Tax Office
District Attorney's Office

The Court next considered for payment the following claims
submitted by the County Treasurer:

On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Stasny
the Court voted unanimously to approve the.claims as submitted.
Judge Holmgreen reported to the Court that a Committee had
been appointed to study bids received for copying equipment.
The County Judge next advised the Court of
a request for ^
variance of the minimum 32 hour employment for
County Health In-
surance for Stella Giddings
an employee of the
Health Department.
Commissioner Cooley moved to
grant the variance
for Stella Giddings
'
and T. W. Chenault, employee
for the Sanitary Landfill. The motion
was seconded by Commissioner
Beard and carried
unanimously.
