The first matter to come before the Court was the approval
of the Minutes of the Commissioners' Court Meeting held April 12,
1982. On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner
Beard the Court voted unanimously to approve the minutes without
change.
,I
On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner
Beard the Court voted unanimously to appoint Robert Mason Johnson
and Glen G. Burchard Deputy Constables of Justice Precinct 4, to
serve without pay.
On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner
Wilcox the Court voted unanimously to appoint Gary Halter to the
Board of Directors of the Brazos Valley Development Council to
fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Jim Dozier.
The Court next reconsidered the request of Lone Star Gas
Company to install 2, 3/4 inch service lines in the r-o-w of
South Graham Road. Commissioner Cooley advised the Court that he
had been in contact with Lone Star Gas and that the Public Utility
Commission would not allow Lone Star Gas Company to pass the cost
of the crossing fee to the Customer and under these conditions
moved to authorize Lone Star Gas.Company to install the service
lines across South Graham Road and to waive the payment of the
$500 crossing fee. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Beard
and carried unanimously. A copy of the notice is attached.
The Court next heard a presentation by Ken Robinson regarding
the subdivision of LaPrimera in Precinct 1. Mr. Robinson voiced
concern about the water run off from the platted area and sewage
disposal, since his property lies below the subdivision and in the
general direction of the flow of excess water. Mr. Robinson's de-
sire was to make the Court aware of his concern prior to the ap-
proval of the Final Plat.
