SPECIAL MEETING
DECEMBER 21, 1981
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos j

County, Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in

! the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at

10:00 A.M., on Monday, December 21, 1981, with the following
members of the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding:
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4;

The first matter to come before the Court was the Consid-
eration of Request to utilize County Right-Of-Way as follows:
1. R. B. Butler, Inc, for Gulf Oil Exploration and
Production Company to install a 2 inch pipeline
in the following rights-of-ways:
a. Old Reliance Road in Precinct 3 \

b. Fickey Road in Precinct 2
After discussion Commissioner Beard moved to approve the applica-
tion subject to an amendment to the permit specifying that the

authorization was for road crossings only. The motion was se-

conded by Commissioner Cooley and carried unanimously.
On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner
II
Cooley the Court unanimously voted to approve the following Change

The Court next considered the following claims as submitted
by the County Treasurer for payment:
General Fund Claims 5102 through 5204
YCC Fund Claims 48
County Shop Claims 245 through 246
Precinct 1 Claims 297
Precinct 2 Claims 303 through 306
Precinct 3 Claims 294 through 295
Precinct 4 Claims 237 through 238
On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Beard
the Court voted unanimously to approve the claims as submitted.
Under other business the Court considered a request from the
Juvenile Probation Officer to create a part-time position for a
Community Resources Coordinator, beginning January 1, 1982 and
terminating May 31, 1982, at which time it would become a full
time position funded by grant funds from the Criminal Justice
Department. The part time position would be funded with Commu-
nity Assistance Program monies. After discussion and on motion
by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner Stasny the Court
voted unanimously to approve the request.
There being no further business and on motion duly made and
seconded the Court adjourned.
