JULY 20, 1981 -
'A special meeting of the Cor.:nissioners' Court of Brazos
Colliity, Texas, was held in the Cormissioners' Courtroom in
the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at
9:00 A.M. on Monday. July 20, 1931, with the follov ing mem-
bers present:
R. J. Holrigreen, County Judge, presiding:
Bill J. Cooley, Cor,-nissioner of Precinct 1;
1•,Talter 'Wilcox, Com=isstoner of Precinct 2:
Billy E. Beard, Commissioner of Precinct 3;

Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.

The Court discussed final approval of the contract with
Sperry Univac for a computer system for the county. Dr. Dan
Coltmga, the county's consultant on the computer project pre-
sented the Court with adjusted cost figures on the 7-year
lease purchase option and recor-ne ded that the contract be
execttsd subject to Sperry Univac furnishing proof that the
proposed enuiprlert could read existing data that is presently
being u:;cd by the 11,M equ?pncnt housed in the Court Administra-
tor's of-i:_ce. Re further recoi=ended that a Data Processing
Na-iager be hired. Conm:issicner Cooley moved to authorize the
JudF,e w execute the contract and hire a Data Processing
