COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
JULY 6, 1981
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos
County, Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in
the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at
10:00 A.M. on Monday. July 6, 1981, with the following mem-
bers of the Court present:
R. J. Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding:
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4.
The first matter to come before the Court was the payment
of an invoice from Twin City International, Inc. in the amount
of $54,850.00. Commissioner Wilcox moved to authorize the
County Treasurer and Auditor to pay $54,850.00 to Twin City
International, Inc. for the purchase of one (1) truck tractor
with trailer purchased by Precinct 3, and to so instruct said
check be made immediately for the payment of same. Such
monies to be paid out of the Precinct 3 Budget. Motion was
seconded by Commissioner Cooley and carried unanimously.
It was the consensus of the Court that the Commissioner
of Precinct 4 be allowed to carry over the amount of money -
necessary for thq payment of the county's portion of the con-
struction of Turkey Creek Bridge on Jones Road from the 1981
Budget into the 1982 Budget,
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.
