A WENTRCEK, CHIEF JUVENILE PROBATION OFFICER FEES $ 140 00 THE BRAZOS CENTER $ 4,637 74 BOBBY H YEAGER, SHERIFF FEES $ 3,098 00 t ~ L W5 _(ttt- ^ - '"1 ` ry'4 r+ y r3rfn_+,M ` 11 ^--7' OMMISSIONERS' COURT MEETING - MARCH 9, 1981 CONTINUED rat~~ The Commissiono-rs having selected the County Depository for the biennium of 1981-1982, proceeded to approve the Depository Contract from First National Bank of Bryan On j motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Beard, the vote was unanimous to approve the contract The Court next considered the award of the contract for Modification and Additions to the Brazos County Courthouse Annex and office for the Brazos County Tax Assessor - Collector. It was the recommendation of architect Jack Cumpton to award the contract to R B Butler who presented a bid of $785,500 00. On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner Stasny, the Court unanimously voted to award the bid to R B. Butler Company The next matter to come before the Court was the approval of a statement from Jack Cumpton and Associates in the amount of $6,257 83 for work completed on the additions and modifications portion of the Courthouse expansion project On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Beard, the Court voted unanimously to approve the payment of the invoice On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Beard, the Court voted unanimously to approve and adopt a contract with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program for 1981 for services to be performed by the members of the organization for Brazos County The Court proceeded to consider the resignations of Joe R. White and W D Burnham from the County Veterans Land Board Committee It was recommended by the County Judge to appoint Fred Rennels, Jr. and Lambert Wilkes to the committee as replace- meets On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Beard, the Court voted unanimously to accept the resignations of Joe R White and W D Burnham and to appoint Fred Rennels, Jr and Lambert Wilkes to fill the vacancies The next matter to come before the Court was a request by Roy Barnes for soil conservation work to be done on his property in Precinct 2 On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by ~d Q.~ OQQPAGiiE~s~.1. yy, COMMISSIONERS' COURT MEETING - MARCH 9, 1981 CONTINUED VoLa-PAGE ' Commissioner Stasny, the Court voted unanimously to approve the work The work is set to be completed by December 31, 1981. On motion by Commissioner Beard, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court unanimously approved Requests For Change In Status of Employees as follows Gloria Ann Taylor Brazos County Health Department Sherry Tounbs County - office Cynthis McPeters Juvenile Probation Jeff West Juvenile Probation Elizabeth Carol Collins Tax office The Court proceeded to consider the following Claims submitted by the County Auditor for payment General Fund Revenue Sahring Crime Control TYC Law Library County Shop Precinct 1 Precinct 2 Precinct 3 Precinct 4 Capital Improvements Proposition II Claims 627 through 845 Claims 5 through 6 Claims 5 through 6 Claims 3 through 6 Claims 5 through 6 Claims 47 through 57 and 59 through 65 omit 58 Claims 55 through 69 Claims 46 through 62 omit 49 Claims 36 through 50 Claims 21 through 34 Claims 18 On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court unanimously voted to pay the Claims as submitted The Court next heard from Tax Assessor - Collector, Buddy Winn, who requested authorization to take bids on a column lister calculator for the Tax office.
