COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
MARCH 4, 1981
A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County,
Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse
in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 3 00 P M on
Wednesday, March 4, 1981, with the following members of the
Court present

Bill J Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1,

The first matter to come before the Court was the receipt
of bids for the Modification and Addition to the Brazos County
Courthouse Annex and Office for the Brazos County Tax Assessor -
Collector as follows
• 1) Bryan Construction -
Base Proposal - $780,000

Alternate B Annex - $ 26,000
Time Annex - 360 days
Time Tax Office - 290 days
Addendum 1&2 - Received

It was the consensus of the Court to refer the bids to the Architect,
Jack Cumpton, for review and recommendation It was announced
that the award of the contract would be made at the
Commissioners' Court Meeting to be held on March 9, 1981.
The next matter to come before the Court was the consideration
to amend the 1981 Revenue Sharing Budget in the amount of $3,000 00
to pay for the installation of scales at the Rodeo Arena on
Tabor Road. On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by
Commissioner Stasny, the Court unanimously voted to amend the
budget, a copy of which is attached to and made a part of these
minutes.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the County Judge announced the meeting adjourned
