Home My WebLink About1980-06-27-1000AM-Specialf f `• I / /� � • t L~f COMMISSIONERS' COURT SPECIAL MEETING JUNE 27, 1980 t.1 I fr i A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos r f, County, Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10 00 A M on Friday, June 27, 1980 with the following members of the Court present R J Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding - Bill J Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2, H L Cargill, Commissioner of Precinct 3, W A Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Frank Boriskie, County Clerk The following citizens and officials were in attendance Becky Swanson Jody Slagle Chris Galindo Phyllis Presley John Morris D D Williamson Robert Lee John Sneed Phylis West B J Kling Bob Rose The Battalion A&M Student Galindo Engineers KAGC The Eagle Highway Department KAMU -TV KAMU -TV KTAM Kling Engineering & Surveying KBTX -TV On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Stasny, the Court unanimously voted to approve the Public Weighers Bond in the amount of $2,500 00 for William D Hahn and Donald J Helton with United States Fidelity and Guaranty as Surety The Court next considered the following application for soil conservation work Garland E Bayliss, 2204 Briar Oaks, requested maintainer work to be done on Cole Lane in Precinct 3 On motion by Commissioner Cargill, seconded by Commissioner Stasny, the Court unanimously approved the application and ; authorized the Commissioner to do the necessary work I On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Cargill, the Court unanimously approved the payment of fire calls= e 5, J r COMMISSIONERS' COURT MEETING - JUNE 27, 1980 CONTINUED r to the City of Bryan in the amount of $431 67 and to the City of College Station in the amount of $443 75 for the month of May 1980. The Court next considered the Final Plat of UNIVERSITY INDUSTRIAL CENTER, PHASE I in Precinct 1 and College Station i ETJ On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner i Stasny, the Court unanimously approved the plat as submitted subject to the approval of the City of College Station i The Court considered the Final Plat of LA BRISA, PHASE III in Precinct 4 and Bryan ETJ On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Cooley, the Court unanimously approved the plat as presented subject to the approval of the City of Bryan. The Court next considered the Preliminary Plat of OLD SPANISH TRAILS ESTATE in Precinct 4. On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Cooley, the Court unanimously approved the plat as presented subject to the following 1.
