AA+ ' J ... ✓ � �w�. ,,! � � n+. /-1 1, ,.e.b.. _ —_ -ll VOL-2-PAGE-YL-74 n COMMISSIONERS' COURT + ' 'SPECIAL MEETING APRIL 7, 1980 A special meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10 00 A M on Monday, April 7, 1980, with the following members of the Court present R J Holmgreen, County Judge, presiding Bill J Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1, Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2, H L Cargill, Commissioner of Precinct 3, W A Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4, Frank Boriskie, County Clerk The following citizens and officials were in attendance Tony Lapaglia, Sr Citizen Jo Anna Ryan Lady T's / Debra S Rivas Lady T's Valerie L Patchen Lady T's Maudie Rankin Lady T's Carol Hartman Lady T's Deirdre Ann Linthwaite Lady T's W T Brown Ann's Spa Ann Brown Ann's Spa Bill Meeks The Eagle John Morris The Eagle Bill Davie KAMU -TV James Smith KAMU -TV Phyllis Presley KAGC Radio Travis B Bryan III District Attorney W D Burley District Clerk Bobby H Yeager Sheriff 0 M Holt Citizen Jim B Fickey Citizen L Tom Jones, Jr Citizen Gerald Farrar Citizen John G Otts Citizen Dan William Citizen Robert Goodman Lion's Den Jim Carwin Houston Chronicle The first natter to come before the Court was the consider- ation of Applications For Massage Parlor Operator's Permits District Attorney, Travis B Bryan II1, and Detective Gulledge representing the Sheriff's Department were present to report the findings of their investigations on the applicants and appli- cations COMMISSIONERS' COURT MEETING - APRIL 7, 1980 CONTINUED Robert Goodman for Lion's Den Detective Gulledge reported that the necessary finger prints had been filed and his investi- gation revealed no cause to withhold the permit District Attorney Travis Bryan III reported he found two irregularities when investigating the application, 1) the location of the bus- iness is not in the permitted area as designated by the Commis- sioners' Court, 2) that the answer regarding the name and address of the actual owner of the premises to be covered by the permit to be incorrect Mr Bryan stated that according to the Deed records the legal owner is Raymond Conti not Robert Goodman Mr Bryan further stated that due to a wrong answer to this question the Court could deny the permit according to Section 8 of the County resolution and recommended the permit be denied Mr Goodman stated that he misunderstood the question, that he leases the premises from Raymond Conti but is the legal owner V®aas. t - � Deirdre Ann Linthwaite for Lady T's Massage Clinic Detective Gulledge reported that finger prints had been filed in the Sheriff's office and he found no reason to withhold the 7 permit according to the County regulations District Attorney 0 � Travis Bryan III reported that he found the application to be in order In view of these reports Commissioner Stasny moved !
