,l All members being present as required by law, the Court
proceeded to set the tax rate for the year 1979, to be applied

in the collection of taxes due on October 1, 1979 After dis-
cussion, Commissioner Stasny moved that the ad valorem tax rate
i
for all property on the tax rolls of Brazos County, Texas,
I
be set as follows
` TOTAL TAX RATE - $1.15 per $100 assessed valuation
t Motion was seconded by Commissioner rCooley All members of
j the Court voted AYE, whereupon the County Judge announced that
the motion had carried and the tax rate set for the above is

hereby adopted for the year 1979 and hereby levied against all
rl
property in Brazos County, Texas

Commissioner Cooley next requested authorization of the
Court to utilize the Road and Bridge II funds for Precinct 1

After discussion Commissioner Cooley moved to authorize each

Commissioner to utilize the Road and Bridge II funds for his

Precinct as needed. The motion was seconded by Commissioner

Next to be considered were the following Notices of Pro-
posed Installation in County Rights-Of-Way as follows
1. Petromark Minerals, Inc proposed to place a natural

gas pipeline within the right-of-way of Cobb Road
in Precinct 3

2 Western Oil Transportation Company proposed to place
a 4-1/2" 0 D steel crude oil pipeline within the
right-of-way of Marino Road in Precinct 2
On motion by Commissioner Cargill, seconded by Commissioner

' Wilcox the Court unanimously voted to authorize the crossing
of the rights-of-way as submitted and attached
i The Court next considered a request for exemption from
ad valorem taxation for the Lighthouse Church located at
4004 N. Texas Avenue After discussion, Commissioner Stasny
moved to grant the request and to authorize the Tax Assessor-
I
' Collector to so mark his records for the 1980 tax year The
motion was seconded by Commissioner Cooley and carried unani-
mously.

The location or description of the proposed installation is
more fully shown by 6 copies of the drawings attached to
this notice
I understand and agree that
1. The Commissioner of the Precinct in which the right-
of-way lies must be notified prior to the beginning of
construction in order that the Commissioner might be on
hand to designate the actual location of the installation.
2. That all damage to the roadways and rights-of-way will
be repaired to their ori(jinal condition to the satis-
faction of the Commissioner in which the roadway or right-
of-way lies
3. That Brazos County reserves the right to require
Western Oil Transportation Company , Application to
relocate or lower any such line at no cost to Brazos County,
should same become necessary duo to widening or lowering,
or other alteration of the roadway or right-of-way.
4. That Brazos County will in no way bo responsible for any ,
damage that might occur to any existing utility lines in
