On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner
Stasny, the minutes of the meetings held July 9, 1979, July
23, 1979, and July 30, 1979, were examined and approved without
change
The Court next considered the extension of the Traffic
Engineering Survey and Sign Replacement Contract On motion
by Commissioner Cargill, seconded by Commissioner Stasny, the
Court unanimously voted to extend the contract through August
31, 1980
On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner
Cargill, the Court unanimously approved the Audit Proposal for
EDA Grant funds to be conducted by Martin, Slovacek and Thompson
in the amount not to exceed $1,950 00
The Court next considered the payment of fire calls made
by the City of College Station in the amount of $1,209 89 and
the City of Bryan in the amount of $582 40 After much dis-
cussion, Commissioner Cargill moved for the payment of the
statement from the City of College Station in the amount of
` $1,209.89 and the payment to the City of Bryan for fire calls
number 1 and 3 in the amount of $356.48. He further moved
that fire calls numbered 2, 3, 4 and 5 billed by the City of
College Station be billed by Brazos County to the respective
owners of the property and that fire call number 3 billed by
1f the City of Bryan be billed to the owner, and that fire call
number 2 (the false alarm) be investigated and considered
later The motion was seconded by Commissioner Stasny with

After discussion of the depth the pipe should be installed and
the possibility of a damage deposit being retained by Brazos
County for a period of time for any future damage to the right-
of-way as a result of the construction, Commissioner Cargill
moved that Producers Gas Company be authorized to cross the
rights-of-way subject to the changes that appear on the Notice
that is approved and attached to these minutes. Motion was
seconded by Commissioner Wilcox and carried unanimously.

On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner
Cooley. the Court unanimously voted to/authorize the crossing
of the rights-of-way as submitted and attached
The Court next considered the following Plat
1. Preliminary Plat of LA BRISA, PHASE I, in Precinct
4 and the extraterritorial jurisdicition of the City
of Bryan, submitted by Galindo Engineering
After discussion of a 30 foot right-of-way off the cul de sac
of Lorito Circle, Commissioner Stasny moved that the Plat be
approved subject to the notification on the Plat that the ease-
ment was a "Private Access Easement" The motion was seconded
by Commissioner Cooley and carried unanimously
The County Judge advised the Court that he had received
a request from Sarah Ryan, Child Services Attorney for author-
ization to pay the present Child Support Officer for a 2 week
period to train the new Child Support Officer. No action was
taken on the request, but would be considered at the next
meeting.
The Court next heard a request from Paul Emola regarding
late operating permit for the sale of alcoholic beverages in
the area outside the city limits of the two incorporated cities
Mr. Emola was advised that no action could be taken at this
time, however, it would be put on the agenda for the meeting

of August 23, 1979 for consideration
There being no further business to come before the Court,

The Court heard presentations from Les Lyons, representing
Xerox Corporation, Mike/Fleming, representing 3M Company and
Charles Polk, representing Otis McDonald's regarding copying
equipment for Brazos County. Mr Lyons stated that he had made ~I
an analysis survey but had not finished compiling the results
and requested additional time to do this before the Court made
a decision on any equipment. Mike Fleming stated that he had
just learned of the matter coming before the Court and was not
prepared to make a presentation at this time but wanted to
advise the Court of 3M's interest in the matter and would like
to make a formal presentation at a later time Charles Polk
R presented the Court with literature on a copier that had reduc-
tion capabilities Otis McDonald proposed that his Company
install another copier at a strategic location equipped with
an autotron for a 30-day period, at no cost to the County, so
that the Court could determine the amount of use by each depart-
meet. No action was taken at this time.
There being no further business to come before the Court,
the meeting was adjourned.

Formal notice is hereby given that Producer's Gas Company, Applicant
proposes to place a Natural Gas Pipeline within the right-of-way of the roads
listed below in Brazos County, Texas, as follows and the pipeline will crops
each of these roads

1 Hearne Road
2. Democrat Road
3. Wilson Pasture Road
4 Old Bundick Road (Also known as Bryan and Bundie Bridge Road)
' 5. Jack Manning Road
All road crossings will be bored, and will be encased for a distance of forty
(40) feet either side of the road centerline. The line will be installed with a
four ty-eight inches (48") below the drainage ditches which is

1 1. The Commissioner of the Precinct in which the right-of-way lies must be
notified prior to the beginning of construction in order that the Comm-
issioner might be on hand to designate the actual location of the install-

' 2. That all damage to the roadways and rights-of-way will be repaired to
their original condition to the satisfaction of the Commissioner in which
the roadway or right-of-way lies.
3. That Brazos County reserves the right to require Producer's Gas Company
r' Application to relocate or lower any such line at no cost to Brazos County,
should same become necessary due to widening or lowering, or other alteration

I understand and agree that.
1. The Commissioner of the Precinct in which the right- of-
way lies munt be notified prior to the beginning of
construction in order that the Commissioner might be on
hand to designate the actual location of the installation.
2. That all damage to the roadway and rights-of-way will be
repaired to their original condition to the satisfaction
of the Commissioner in which the roadway or right-of-way
lies.
3. That Brazos County reserves the right to require
WQatal*n 031 pertation Company Applicant , to
relocate or lower any such line at no cost to Brazos county,
should same become necessary due to widening or lowering, or
other alteration of the roadway or rightway.
4. That Brazos County will in no way be responsible for any
damage that might occur to any existing utility lines in the
right-of-way.
