H White Jeff L Braun Mary Nichols Buddy Winn K3TX-TV KTAM Citizen League of Women Voters KAMU-TV Auditor Tax Assessor-Collector On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Cargill, the minutes of the meetings held April 9, 1979, April 16, 1979 and April 23, 1979, were examined and approved without change The Court proceeded to the opening and consideration of the following bids for the purchase of a used caterpillar motor grader for Precinct Two Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company - $17,949 00 Young & Sons, Inc - $38,500 00 Commissioner Wilcox moved to accept the low bid of Mustang Tractor and Equipment Company in the amount of $17,949.00 Motion was seconded by Commissioner Cooley and passed unan- imously Commissioner Wilcox further moved to authorize Precinct two (2) to issue a Time Warrant to the First National Bank, Bryan, Texas, in the amount of $17,949 00 for the pur- chase of the equipment Motion was seconded by Commissioner Stasny and carried unanimously The Court next considered the budget submitted by the new 272nd District Court On recommendation by the County Judge and motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commi- ssioner Stasny, the Court unanimously voted to approve the budget in the amount of $58,206 98 for the remainder of the 1979 budget year and to amend the 1979 budget for Brazos County. Next to be considered was an application by the City of Bryan, Rural Electric Division for installation of an electric distribution line in the right-of-way of Clay Pit Road in Precinct 1 On motion by Commissioner Cargill, seconded by Commissioner Cooley, the Court unanimously voted to approve the installation of an electric distribution line A copy of v®L.O FAGS COMMISSIONERS' COURT MEETING - MA.X 14f 1979 CONTINUED I V OL-0 PQ►GS (o such application and authorization is attached to and made a part of these minutes. On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Stasny, the Court unanimously approved the installation of a sewer line in the right-of-way of Wood Oaks Drive in Precinct 3 by Henry Parkman, Developer, all in accordance with the application and approval attached to these minutes Next to be considered was an agreement between the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation and Brazos County for the inspection, appraisal and inventory of all I bridges on public roads and streets. On motion by Commissioner Cargill, seconded by Commissioner Stasny, the Court voted to i authorize the County Judge to enter into the agreement on be- half of Brazos County Next to be considered was the payment of Fire Calls to the City of Bryan in the amount of $375 54 and to the City of College Station in the amount of $566 09 for the month of April, 1979 Commissioner Stasny moved that the Fire Calls be paid Motion was seconded by Commissioner Cooley and carried unanimously Next to be discussed was the re-appointment of two (2) members to the Board of Directors of the Brazos Valley Devel- opment Council.
