Harvey WTAW , i I I The County Judge opened the meeting and recognized Ira + Lewis, Captain of the Brazos County Reserve Deputy Unit, who II requested the number of Reserve Deputies be increased to thirty (30). The need for the increase from fifteen (15) to t thirty (30) was confirmed by Sheriff Bobby Yeager. On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court unanimously Voted to proclaim the month of May as Senior Citizen's Month. , Next to be considered was the payment of Liability and Fiscal Insurance for the Brazos rounding grounds in the amount of $12,509.00. Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Court voted to pay the premiums for Brazos Ce; following up of a reported 1977 Claim. premiums for Center and sur- On motion by Stasny, th6 rater subject to On motion by Commissioner Cargill, seconded by Commissioner Cooley, the Court unanimously voted to pay $567.35 to the City of Bryan and $1,957.68 to the City of College Station for fire calls for the month of March, 1979. The Court next considered a request by the Probation Department for authorization to purchase two (2) 4-drawer file cabinets in the amount of $309.20. On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Cargill, the Court unanimously approved the purchase of the file cabinets. On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court unanimously voted to approve Requests For Change In Status of Employees as follows: Virginia Ann Ener County Clerk's Office Helen I. McNabb County Extension Office Mike Baker Sheriff's Office Richard Van Nest Sheriff's Office Richard D. Gulledge Sheriff's Office Gloria Espino Tax Office Robert E. Sims County Shop Judge James A. On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Cargill, the Court unanimously voted to amend the Budget and reimburse Precinct 2 in they amount of $2,817.34 and Precinct 3 in the amount of $5,855.46 for fuel tanks installed at the County Shop in 1978. ti The Court proceeded to consider the following P1'ats: 1 1. Preliminary Plat of La eresa Subdivision in Precinct 4 and the extra-territorial jurisdiction of the City of Bryan. After much discussion no action was taken on this Plat. 2. Final Plat of Meadowlark, second installment in Precinct 4. On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court unani- mously voted to approve the Final Plat of Meadowlark as presented subject to the submission of a letter of credit for the completion of the roads. The Court proceeded to consider for payment the following Claims submitted by the County Auditor: General Fund Claims 1060 through 1156 On motion by commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner Cargill, the Court voted unanimously to pay the Claims as pre- , sented. o On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner , Cooley, the Court unanimously voted to approve Certificates of Correction numbered 1320 and 1321 and Certificates of Cancella- tion numbered 10588 through 10592 as presented by the Tax Assessor-Collector. On motion by Commissioner Cooley, seconded by Commissioner Wilcox, the Court unanimously voted to approve the payment of two (2) statements from Jack Cumpton, Arphitect for a total , amount of $3,796.49 for his services at the Regional Multi-Use r ' Facility (Brazos Center).
