A meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas,
was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan,
Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 10 00 AI M. on Monday, June 26,
1978, with the following members of the Court present

Pursuant to the proper notice as required by law, the
Commissioners' Court proceeded into a public hearing on the
establishment of weight limits on roads and bridges under the

jurisdiction and maintenance of Brazos County The following

At the conclusion of the public hearing, Mr. Williams re-
quested additional time to submit a written memorandum for con-
sideration'by the Commissioners' Court prior to action. By
general consent the Court agreed to take action on the matter
at its meeting on Monday, July 24, 1978
Next to be considered was the payment of fire calls for
June, 1978. On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by
Commissioner Cargill, the Court voted unanimously to pay $1,650
to the City of Bryan for fire calls for June, 1978.
The Court next considered Requests for Change in Status for
the following employees
Jerry Catrone - County Shop
Jim Willie Johnson - Janitorial
Mary Lynn Smalley - Non-Departmental
Brenda Joyce Williams - Non-Departmental
On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner Cargill
the Court voted unanimously to approve the Requests as submitted.
On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner
Wilcox the Court voted unanimously to approve Claims numbered 1498
through 1670 in the General Fund as submitted by the County Auditor
for payment
On motion by Commissioner Stasny, seconded by Commissioner
Wilcox, the Court voted unanimously to pay the statement of Roy
Barnes in the amount of $600 for 300 loads of gra 1 used at the
saw
Livestock Arena.
There being no further business to discuss, the Court recessed.

The Court reconvened at 1 30 P. M. to review and consider
E the following Plats•

1. Preliminary Plat of Thunder Hollow in Precinct 3.
After the review of the Plat and on motion by
Commissioner Cargill, seconded by Commissioner
Wilcox, the Court approved the Plat as a Pre-
preliminary subject to the following additions-
(a) 20 foot utility easement where 16 foot not
available
(b) 60 foot along all of roads

` 2. Preliminary Plat of Forrest Lakes, Second Install-
ment in Precinct 3 After a study of the Plat and on
1 motion by Commissioner Cargill, seconded by Commissioner !
Cooley, the Court unanimously voted to approve the pre-
liminary plat subject to the following additions. I
(a) cleari.fy drainage i
(b) 60 foot all along Dyers Road
(c) subdivision limits to include Woodview Drive
