~F The Commissioners' Court heard a presentation by John Bantle
with Snowden & Meyer Engineering firm regarding the placement of
fire hydrants in Villa West Subdivisions, Section 4 After much

discussion, it was recommended that the Municipal Utility District

adapt the same guidelines as those used by the City of Bryan for
t
` the distance for fire hydrants. No action was taken on the Pre-,

'liminary Plat

s Next to be discussed was the purchase of additional voting

devices for the County David King, a representative of Computer
,
Election Services advised the Court that the devices that had
'

been offered to the County earlier were no longer available but
that the Company would honor the price offered on their current
t
,
metal model The County Judge stated that the County would first'
I
,
' need to decide if additional voting equipment should be purchased,
and if so the County would have to advertise and take bids,

The Court proceeded to discuss oil and gas leases on County
property but deferred action until the first`_meeting in April.
On motion by Commissioner Wilcox, seconded by Commissioner
Cargill, the court unanimously voted to amend the Budget of the
Tax Assessor-Collector to accomodate the payment of services for
I
the Delinquent Tax Roll.
There being no further business, the Court adjourned.
