REGULAR MEETING
. DECEMBER 12, 1977
A regular meeting of-the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County,
Texas, was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in
Bryan, Brazos County,-Texas, beginning at 10:00 A. M. on Monday,
December lw,, 1977, with the following members of the Court present:
William R. Vance, County,Judge, presiding;
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner of Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner of Precinct 2;•
H. L. Cargill, Commissioner-of Preicnct 3;
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner of Precinct 4;. ,
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.
The minutes of the previously, held meetings were examined and
approved without change. ^
The Court received, approved and ordered filed as submitted the
following reports for November, 1977:

Revenue Sharing Budget for the year 1978. Commis'sion'er Wilcox moved

'Budget for 1978. Motion was seconded by Commi-s,si:oner-'Stasriy;'With
Commissioners Wilcox,_ Stasny, Cargill and the County' 'J`udge Voting
AYE. Commissioner Cooley voted NO, whereupon the the'County Judge

The Court proceeded to the payment,of fire calls for the month

the 1977, Budget for the Court's consideration:

County Court At Law, increased 6,500.00
District Court, increased - 3,000.00
' Justice of Peace, increased 41000.00
County Treasurer, increased 11000.00 1

The Court reconvened~at 1:30 P. M. and first heard a reqeust
,by Bill Carrl-l for a variance from the County Subdivision Regulations'
regarding the width of.the right-of-way in Enchanted Oaks. Mr. Carrll
requested the Court to accept-a 50 foot right-of-way instead of the
required 60 foot. Mr. Carrll+was advised to negotiate with the prop-
erty owners for a temporary turn-around at the north end of the road,
