COMMISSIONERS' COURT
iSPECIAL MEETING
'AUGUST 29, 1977
A meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas,I
was held 'in the Commissioners Courtroom in,the Courthouse, in Bryan,
Brazos County, Texas beginning at 10:00 A. M. on Monday, August 29,
1977, with the following members of the Court present:
William R. Vance, County Judge, presiding;
Bill Cooley, Commissioner, Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner, Precinct 2;
H. L. Cargill, Commissioner, Precinct 3;
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner, Precinct 4;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.
All Commissioners toured the jail and discussed the report by
the Texas Commission On Jail Standards of their inspe tion of the
County jail.
The Court next considered the purchase of a new mailing machine
for the County'. After discussion, Commissioner Wilcox moved that
Brazos County purchase a Pitney Bowes model 4385 for a total cost
of $4,663.00 including trade-in. Motion was seconded by Commissioner
Cargill. Motion passed,with four members of the Court voting AYE.

One Commissioner announced present but not voting.

There being no further business, the Court adjourned.
