COMMISSIONERS' COURT
SPECIAL MEETING
AUGUST 23, 1977
A meeting of the Commissioners' Court of Brazos County, Texas,
was held in the Commissioners' Courtroom in the Courthouse in Bryan,
Brazos County, Texas, beginning at 3:30 P. M. on Tuesday, August 23,
1977, with the following members of the Court present:
William R. Vance, County Judge, presiding;
Bill J. Cooley, Commissioner, Precinct 1;
Walter Wilcox, Commissioner, Precinct 2;
H. L. Cargill, Commissioner, Precinct 3;
W. A. Stasny, Commissioner, Precinct 4;
Frank Boriskie, County Clerk.
The first and only item to come before the Court was the receiving
and opening of bids for the paving of the parking lot of the Courthouse
Annex. The County Judge opened and read aloud the following bids
received:
Rio Road Builders $34,000 - 120 day completion
Young Brothers $40,108.75 - 160 day completion
The County Judge announced that both bids were over budget and the
Court referred them to the Architect for further study and return
with his findings on Friday, August 26, 1977, at 10:00 A. M.
There being no further business, the Court adjourned.

The foregoing Minutes of the Commissioners' Court Meeting held
August 23, 1977 were examined and-approved in open Court this
12th day of September, 1977,in Bryan, Brazos County, Texas.
